Byron Xypteras has had more than 35 years’ experience in the field of labour relations in South Africa.

Armed with an LLB from Rhodes University, Byron was admitted as an advocate in the High Court and then later qualified as an arbitrator and mediator from AFSA. After 15 years’ experience in the commercial world as a specialist industrial relations advisor in the mining, manufacturing and retail sectors, he started his own practice in 1999. Byron is in a position to offer a massive wealth of experience and know-how to his clients, by guiding them through the complex and challenging environment of employee relations in South Africa.

Byron has recently been issued a Certificate of Competence by AFSA to act as mediator in Court annexed matters, pursuant to a Mediation Directive of the Gauteng Division of the High Court.
